What is Ream's Partner Program?

At Ream, we win with our authors. 🎉

Ream is the membership platform by authors for authors.

And we created the best partner program for authors to match our commitment to creating a community-powered platform for publishing.

When you refer authors to join Ream, you earn 30% of Ream's revenue from Invited Authors for 12 months after they join (this does not affect the author's income and instead comes directly from Ream's revenue).

You can become a Ream Partner today by creating an author account on Ream and going to your Settings page to sign-up as a Partner for free.

Scroll down to the bottom of your settings page, and you will find a panel for the Ream Partner Program.

Every 90 days, the highest-referring Ream Partner in terms of total revenue will receive an exclusive Storytellers Rule the World Merch Kit 🎉.

Here are some fast facts on the Ream Partner Program:

• Partners receive 30% affiliate commission from Ream's share of Invited Authors' income. To learn more about Ream's revenue share, check out our platform fees here.

• Applies to all reader subscription purchases for that author, including recurring payments.

• Commissions are given up to one year after an author signs up with your link.

• Applies to any authors you invite through your customizable link.

• Your customizable link is case-insensitive and can be anything you'd like as long as it follows our Content and Community Guidelines.

• Does not affect the invited author's profits, the commission is taken from Ream's revenue.

• All eligible for payouts on Ream are able to join as Ream Partners (more on that here).

• You must first create a free author account on Ream before being able to refer other authors.

Who's a good fit for the partner program?

• Podcasts, YouTube Channels, Author TikTokers, course creators, and other writing and self-publishing community experts who have an audience of professional authors who trust them for recommendations.

• Author Personal Assistants, Cover Designers, Editors, and other service providers and pros in the author community.

• Fellow authors, small presses, and other storytellers on Ream.

• And readers are welcome to participate too as long as they create an author account and set up for payouts through Ream!

How can I share the word about my Partner link?

In short, however, you'd like as long as it doesn't violate our Terms of Service for the program.

• You can post it in descriptions of podcasts, newsletters, and social media posts.

• You can share it privately with author friends.

• You can share it in Facebook Groups or other author communities you are a member of.

• You can share it on your Ream page, in conference talks, or in other places where fellow authors are likely to see your Ream and thus may want to join the platform.
