Why You Can’t Comment on Stories on Ream

Depending on the device you are using (usually Android or iPhone) you may be having trouble commenting on stories on Ream. 

You can likely see all the comments but not see where to add a comment yourself. 

To fix this, you just have to download the free Ream App onto your mobile device. Here are instructions on how to do so.

Once you complete this, you will be able to comment on stories in Ream.

Now you might be wondering, why do I have to download an app just to comment on stories?

We understand that this may be frustrating. This is a temporary limitation and we are actively working to bring commenting live to mobile browsers. For now, downloading and reading inside the mobile app will ensure the best possible experience for you.

Readers can comment on any story they have access to. If stories or chapters are available to the public, anyone can comment. If you Follow an author, you may have access to certain chapters or stories, and if you're a subscriber, you'll have access to even more content.

You can leave a comment about a part of the story, leave a compliment or feedback, reply to another reader comment or even interact with the author.
