There are 3 measures Ream takes to ensure that all readers can have a safe reading experience on the platform:

1. When not logged into an account, if someone clicks on a story that has Mature Content, a warning message displays.

2. At any time, readers can turn off the ability to see Mature Content in their account, ensuring that any Mature stories on the platform can not be read by that reader.

3. On Ream, there are dedicated audience categories for Children's and Young Adult books. Stories not appropriate for Children and intended for a New Adult or Adult audience are not visible in these categories.
