Pausing Subscriber Payments

Need a break, have an unforeseen life event and worried about disappointing your readers? 🤔

Now, you can make that quick change to your author page!

You can pause your subscribers' payments indefinitely, until you're ready to resume your regular author schedule.

New readers to your page won't be able to subscribe to a tier
Current subscribers won't be billed
Your content will still be accessible, so current subscribers can continue to enjoy your stories
You can even add new content for them during a pause

Go to your Author Dashboard
Click on your Page tab and scroll to the bottom
Click on the 3 dots to see the Pause option
Click the Pause button to pause billing for your subscribers
Confirm and pause payments
To hide your page from public view, you can also Unlaunch your page using the same 3 dots: https://help.reamstories.com/article/242-how-to-unlaunch-your-ream-author-page
Note: You can resume billing and relaunch your page at any time

Readers will also be able to see if their payments have been paused by viewing their memberships from their Memberships tab:

This pauses all payment in all tiers
For more specific payment pauses, you will need to contact our Support team to request a manual pause
Readers will not be able to upgrade or downgrade their subscription until the invoicing resumes. They are still able to cancel their subscription to that tier.
