The Official Ream Raid Guide!

Ream is a publishing platform where readers can discover, purchase, and enjoy stories directly from their favorite authors. Readers can follow authors, purchase books through Single Sales, join subscriptions for exclusive content, and build a personal library of stories across e-books, serial fiction, audiobooks, and comics.
What is Ream Raid?
At least three times a year, Ream hosts Ream Raid, a platform-wide free book event.
Participating authors' books will automatically be set to free (Public or Followers in their Ream settings) for the timeframe set for each Raid (usually 2-3 days per Raid).
Ream and the participating authors promote the event, encouraging readers to read not just their books but also other authors' books. Authors gain new readers, and some go on to Subscribe to authors or purchase other Single Sales books from authors they found via the Raid.
- Winter Raid around Valentine's Day
- Spooky Autumn Raid around Halloween
- Holiday Raid in December
Authors will continue to promote their books on their social media, and Ream will promote the Raid internally with a platform-wide notification to readers.
Important Requirements:
- Your submitted stories MUST BE on Ream. Do not submit an Amazon link or a link to another retailer or subscription site.
- You may only submit one (1) e-book per Ream page.
- You may submit a collection of short stories, but you may not submit samples or a collection of samples of your other works. The goal is to give readers a story to read, not a sampler.
- ALL chapters in your book will be set to Free during the promotional period.
- Please ensure your stories are published at least 3 days before the Raid begins, to give our team the time they need to review everything before the Raid goes live.
- Promoting the Raid at least once is a requirement to participate in future Raids. We have a promotional tracker that is located on the Ream Raid marketing tab to make this easier for you.
How Do I Join?
