What Does The Reader Settings Page Do?

The Settings Page lets you take control of what you want to receive in terms of Notifications, viewing Mature Content, providing a shipping address for those authors who are shipping you physical goods (like swag, books and book boxes), and now, control over whether we collect information about how and who you read on Ream.
How to find the Settings page?
When you create an account on Ream, you're automatically taken there first. If you need to find it again? Just click the three dots on the upper right side of the page, then click Settings in the drop down menu. Easy!
Here are all the features:
Content Settings:
You choose whether you want to view books with mature content or not. When you search for books by title, author, audiobook or comic, the media that the author has labeled mature will no be shown.
You can enable and disable mature content at any time by toggling the slider on or off and then clicking the Submit button.

Shipping Information:
If you're subscribed to an author tier that sends physical goods periodically (like bookboxes or swag), you want to be sure they have the most up to date shipping address so you can receive all of your goodies.
To add your address, click the Configure button and then add your shipping address.
To keep you personal information safe, your address is hidden from authors you subscribe to who don't ship physical goods. Only those authors who send physical goods will see that information.

Email Notifications:
You choose what information you want to receive from authors and from Ream. The best part? You can change these settings at any time.
There are both reader and author email settings in this section (because authors are readers too!). The reader settings can be found on the left side and the author settings are found on the right, but you can set all of them if you'd like.
Just toggle each email on (purple check mark) or off (minus sign) for each type of notification email, then click the submit button to save your preferences.

Analytics:
We provide authors with anonymized, aggregate reading data to help them understand which stories and chapters resonate most with readers. Even though this data is anonymous (your name is never used) you can still opt out and disable these analytics.
Like the notifications, you simply have to toggle the slider to yes (purple check mark) or no (grey minus sign), then click the submit button to save your preferences.
Author Partner Program:
Readers don't need to make any settings changes with this section, but if you are an author on Ream with an active author page, you may want to invite other authors to Ream and earn a referral bonus.
