Chargeback and Payment Dispute Insurance

For Ream Managed Authors

All Ream Managed authors are automatically opted into chargeback and dispute fee insurance. 

This ensures that if a reader disputes a charge from your bank, you won’t be charged an additional fee for this dispute (typically these fees are $20 per dispute even if the reader only pays $3). 

The fee for chargeback insurance is 0.5% per transaction. 

If an author has a high chargeback rate of 1% or higher, we reserve the right to investigate this account for fraudulent activity and shut the author’s account down if it is engaging in spam, fraud, or other activity that goes against our Content and Community Guidelines.
