How to Create a Custom URL (slug) for Your Ream Page

Yes, that's what it's called! 🥴

The current URL to your public page seems like a mash of random letters and numbers. We know that’s not ideal and you’d like to customize it.

Now, every author on Ream can create a custom web address to share their page with readers! You can enter yours right below your tagline (is creating...) when you edit your page.

The name you place following reamstories.com/ when editing your author page in your dashboard, is the name that will be added to your URL page address, otherwise known as a slug (really, it is!).

You can change your slug as many times as needed until you find a page address that will work best for you, even after you launch your page. Be sure and update everyone who has your old URL so they know how to find you!

Once you create, save and launch you page, your URL will look like this: https://reamstories.com/YourNameHere
