How to Embed a Video In the Author About Section

Ream allows authors to embed a video in their About section that welcomes and introduces their readers to their membership.

Here’s how you can embed a video using YouTube:

1. Upload a video to YouTube. If you want to make the video exclusive to your readers, you can make the video unlisted (instructions here). This process is free and ensures only readers with the link can see the video.
2. Once the video is uploaded click the Share button on the watch page of your video.
3. From the list of share options, click Embed.
4. On the box that appears copy the HTML code.
5. Paste this code into the “Video Embed URL” section on Ream.

And ta-da! 🎉 Your video is now viewable to readers on Ream. 😁
